"When Dominique Gabore, single mother and bartender, ran an ad in the newspaper for an evening babysitter she expected a better response than what she received. What she didn't expect was tall, dark, breathtakingly handsome Joshua Divine to come knocking. Immediately, she is taken by him but feeling comfortable about leaving her son alone with him is a different story. Reluctantly, she hires Joshua only to discover he's the best babysitter she could've hoped for. But as her feelings for him begin to bloom to far more than a working relationship the secrets begin to come out.
Joshua Divine is a college student at the age of thirty studying child psychology. Though he's gained plenty of experience from his five younger brothers and sisters, time alone with a child not his sibling is just what he's looking for. What he hadn't planned on was being swept off his feet by the child's mother. From the moment he lays eyes on her, Dominique takes his emotions to places they've never been. But there's no way he can allow himself to fall for her. She's a bartender. He's already lost one woman in his life as a result of being a bartender and learned soon after just what kind of women work in such a profession. Even as Dominique proves she is not like all the rest, he continues to fight his growing feelings. But ultimately he finds resistance to be a battle he cannot win.
