He spent fourteen years living among the remote New Guinea Antorak tribe following a plane crash. Anthropologist Dr. Peter Havistock is a minor celebrity sponsored on a tour of American colleges by the Wimberly Foundation. However, Peter's fifteen minutes of fame becomes much longer when he gives his lectures in native costumes that have the Ivy League students acting like they are in a Spring break wet T-shirt contest.
Wimberly director Leslie Hall-Grumman thinks the native G-string is a bit too much or perhaps too little, but she feels Peter goes to far when he announces on the Harry King TV show that he is a virgin in search of a bride. Women want the handsome hunk in their bed, but Leslie believes he is courting her, a thought she finds delightful yet frightening.
Though timelines involving Peter seem off kilter, readers will enjoy this wacky romantic romp with a not so subtle satirizing message on what is civilization. The amusing story line is refreshing yet provoking due to the sparring of the lead couple. Leslie deploys her “superior” western philosophy while Peter employs “Stone Age” spears. Katherine Deauxville provides her audience with a way out romance that will delight all readers including that endangered species, THE LAST MALE VIRGIN.

"29 year old Dr. Peter Havistock announces to the world he is a virgin looking for a wife. When he was not yet 15, the plane carrying he and his parents crash land in the jungle of New Guinea. For the next 14 years, he lives with the tribe that rescued him. He is now nearly 30 and a virgin. He is a profession of anthropology and in on a book tour of college campuses to promote his story and the lives of the tribe that raised him. And he has a very attention catching style that is fanning the flames of press and women alive.
Leslie Wimberly is in charge of handling the book tour. A beautiful 34 year old divorcée, she is finding the Professor a big more than she can handle. From his G string demonstration of authentic native gab, to defending him from mobs of women, to the announcement he has never been kissed before, leaves her running in circles.

"Peter was in a devastating plane crash when he was 14. Both of his parents passed away in the crash, and Peter was found and raised by a native tribe in the mountains of Papua New Guinea. As Peter advanced in years he continued to learn the ways of his “adoptive family” and has ended up as their supreme chief. As part of this he has actually left the tribe to be able to pursue his doctorate in Aboriginal culture. With his doctorate complete and a book written it has been decided that Peter will now to leave and find a wife.
Leslie Wimberly Hall-Gruman of the Wimberly Foundation is charged with escorting Dr. Peter on his book tour of the most prestigious colleges, as the Foundation is sponsoring him and his book tour. Leslie is not amused by his ease in flirting with her and in his dress (or lack there of) when promoting his book. The fact that is, is super good looking does not make this any easier. Then on National TV he announces that not only is he looking for a wife but also he is a virgin. This sends the women of the Northeast into a frenzy to be introduced to Peter, and makes Leslie's job so much harder.
But, Peter seems to only have eyes for one person – Leslie. While the women of the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic States are all setting out to try and have sex with Peter he is romancing Leslie in his own way.
