| Plot Summary of Shadows and Lace |
"Sir Gareth of Carleton has gambled with Lindsey Fordycew and won- not only does he have the opportunity to right a wrong commited against him so long ago, he can do it through the use of Fordyce's only daughter, Rowena. Firey and tempermental, Rowena doesn't take kindly to the way she's treated or the way that her siblings are tossed aside. Unfortunately, Sir Gareth doesn't seem interested in fairness, only in bedding her and making sure the entire kingdom knows. Little does she know there's one thing, or maybe person, protecting her, and a secret that could destroy her life and everything she's ever loved."
Meredith Griffin, Resident Scholar
