| Plot Summary of Fearless Love |

"Lucy Bonner is a sixteen-year-old girl living in Texas during the fight for freedom from Mexico. At the Alamo, she meets Jesse Lee Powell, a young man from Tennessee who has come to help the Texas in their fight for independence. Lucy and Jesse Lee fall in love and promise to marry when the war is over. But when the Alamo falls, Lucy fears Jesse Lee is dead and she can never love again."
