| Plot Summary of Patriots: Surviving the Coming Collapse |
"Stupid Government Tricks: society collapses in hyperinflation. A group of Western survivalist types has anticipated this and is ready. They weather the 'Mad Max' gangs, begin to restore local stability... and then some small-time tinpot politician back East calls in the United Nations. The UN tyrants get their asses handed to them in little pieces, the US is restored to constitutional government, and the whole societal outlook changes, largely because most of the stupid people got killed off in the meltdown and subsequent war."
