| Plot Summary of No Price Too High |
"Melisande Chapeleine joined the Third Crusade against the wishes of her father and older brother, both crusaders. Her mission is to nurse the wounds of the crusaders who are fighting in the Holy Land. But when she is the sole survivor of a massacre, she is rescued by Gabriel de la Rive, who takes her to his home in the desert. In spite of their different cultures, they begin to fall in love, but both are obsessed with finding justice - Melisande for her brother and Gabriel for his people."
