| Plot Summary of Flame |

"Gavin Kerr is the new laird of Ironcross Castle. He was encouraged not to travel to his new estate because it was believed to be haunted. The last laird and his wife, daughter, and servants were killed in a terrible fire that could not have been an accident. When he arrives at the castle, he is haunted by a portrait of Joanna McInnes, the laird's daughter who died in the fire. Joanna did not die, however. She is hiding in the passageways under the castle, plotting revenge against her parents' murderers. As Gavin and Joanna fall in love, can Gavin stop her from getting revenge on a person who may be innocent? Together they try to solve the mystery of who set the fire."
