| Plot Summary of The Iron Dream |
"In a post-nuclear world filled with mutations of every kind, humans who can breed true are at a premium.
One such "Trueman" is Ferric Jaggar, an exile who is finally allowed to return to the island of genetic perfection that is Heldon.
Disgusted with what he finds, Jaggar recruits a gang of motorcycle-riding toughs and takes control of the border town. Feeding on the natural hatred humans have for their mutated neighbours, Jaggar founds a political party and takes the elections, with the help of his biker-SS.
He soon cleanses Heldon of all mutants, but especially the hideous Doms, who look human but are able to exert mind control over any being.
Determined to rid the Earth of all the damaged genes, he forms a vast army of motorbike-riding stormtroopers and rampages across Europe, heading for the ultimate confrontation with the Doms in the East.
Meanwhile, back home, genetic testing is carried out and anyone who fails must enter a special purification camp..(sound familiar?)
The Doms get the last laugh, however, when they detonate a huge warhead, spreading radiation over the whole planet.
Not to be deterred, Jaggar discovers cloning, and seeds the Solar System with genetically perfect copies of his best SS troopers.
