"On Daisy Minor's thirty-fourth birthday she realizes she has to make a major change in her life. Daisy lives with her mother and Aunt Joella in a small bugalow. Daisy's life has been uneventful and boring. She works at the local library in the small town of Hillsboro, Alabama. However on her birthday she has an epiphany and realizes her life has to change.
