Plot Summary of Gwyneth and the Thief
"Gwyneth is just fifteen years old, but since her mother and brother are dead and her father is ill, she runs Haverleigh, their estate in England in 1202. Her despicable neighbor, Baron DeVilliers, wants to marry Gwyneth. To escape this fate, she blackmails a young thief named Gavin that she found in the woods into training the men of Haverleigh as soldiers. Neither Gavin nor Gwyneth expects that their arrangement will turn into love."
