| Plot Summary of Letters to Jenny |

"One day author Piers Anthony recieved a letter from the mother of a fan. The fan is Jenny, and she had been hit by a drunk driver and had been in a coma ever since. Her mother thought that maybe a letter from her favourite author would bring her out of the coma. It did. Piers continues to write to her (even to this day) and has published the first years worth of letters in the book. Throughout the novel the reader learns a lot of the personal life of Piers Anthony. You also learn a lot about his compassion. He writes a character into his novels for Jenny. He goes to a convention that is near her for the sole reason that it is near her and he will get to meet her. All throughout, he encourages Jenny's recovery and sends her things that he thinks she would like. "
