| Plot Summary of Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography |
"In this "unauthorized autobiography," we learn some of the answers; unfortunately, these answers are typically not to the questions we've been asking about The Series of Unfortunate Events and its author, Lemony Snicket. This book tells of Lemony Snicket's early life, including his birth NOT on a cattle farm and his "taking" by the V.F.D. Also featured: information on disguises, theatrical reviews, suspiciously dirty shirts, and many photographs vaguely related to the life and times of both Lemony Snicket and the Baudelaire orphans. Beatrice even makes a few oblique appearances. Don't read this until you've read most of The Series of Unfortunate Events - it won't make the slightest bit of sense - but do read it eventually. It is as humorous and enjoyable as the rest of the series."
