| Plot Summary of The One Tree: Chronicles of Thomas Covenant 5 |
"Covenant enlists The Haruchai and the Giants of the Search to travel the seas of The Land in search of the One Tree in order recreate the Staff of Law. The quest is doomed from the start but it's purpose is to fight the Clave, put out the Sunbane that is destroying The Land and sent Dr. Linden Avery back to our world. Along the way the Search encounters the strange faerie Elohim and the bizzare Kayseryn of Grye. They are relentlessly pursued by one (or more) of Lord Foul's Raver who are constantly changing shapes. "
