| Plot Summary of Morgan |
"To Morgan Hudson, Misty Malone just looks to be trouble. So he chases her off. Then he finds out that she's actually in trouble, and drags her back so he can help her. As the sheriff, and since she is his brother's sister-in-law, it seems only natural that he should--even though he takes every opportunity to seduce her. Once he comes to realize that it's more than just sex, things get even more complicated."

"Town's sheriff Morgan Hudson takes one look at Misty and is instantly attracted. When he finds out that she is Honey's sister, his soon sister-in-law, he backs off for he doesn't want to hurt Honey. However Misty is driving him insane with her provocative looks and moves that she puts on his brothers. After Honey's wedding, he catches her crying alone in the early morning and instantly pries her problem. He is shocked to find out that Misty is having troubles - she is pregnant and she is out of work because her former boss has accused her of stealing money. His protective instincts arise and he does everything to make sure Misty stays at Buckhorn for the meantime. He gives her a job working as his assistant in the sheriff's office and he makes her stay in his family's big house.
Misty is overwhelmed by Morgan's nurturing. Although she has no plans laid down, she has decided to leave Buckhorn after her sister's wedding and survive on her own. But because of Morgan's stubbornness, she ends up at Buckhorn staying for a long time and working to earn for her soon-to-be-born baby. Furthermore, she has to muster all her strength to resist Morgan's irrestible charm and wit. However the longer she works for Morgan, the more that she knows about him especially his kindness and love for his town.
Morgan is deep in love with Misty. She drives him crazy with jealousy even when she is talking with old doddering men. She also impresses him with her strength and determination. He knows that Misty is attracted ot him and feels deeply for him. However it comes a surprise when Misty turns down his marriage proposal. Misty thinks that he has just mistaken his feelings for her. Misty has the idea that she is just one of his wounded birds that he needs to take care until it can fly on its own again. Morgan is hurt by Misty's rejection and he ignores her after the incident. When he learns that Misty is leaving town, he panics and finally realizes that he loves Misty and he is going to do everything to make her realize that."
