"When the cat Fritti Tailchaser's girlfriend Hushpad disappears, he goes on a journey to rescue her, accompanied by the wild little kitten Pouncequick and an insane old tomcat named Eatbugs (who has a secret identity.)
Fritti and his friends get help from the first-borns, the superior race of cats, and journey to the evil mound of the villainous cat god Grizraz Hearteater, where it is believed that Hushpad is being kept. The first-borns, and Eatbugs, who is more than he appears, show up to rescue Tailchaser and his associates, destroy the mound, and kill Hearteater."
