| Plot Summary of Crucifix Lane |
"Annie Jones is leaving a club one night when she is involved in an accident that knocks her unconcious. When she comes to she has been transported eleven years into the future. The environment is recognisable as London but not the London she knows. The Thames is no longer tidal and the area beyond the Thames barier known as the Marsh Projects are inhabited by immigrant refugees. Annie finds herself involved with an organisation known only as the Network. She finds herself falling for the leader of the Network, Kellen. As Annie finds herself and matures she discovers that Kellen's charity of distributing food and medical supplies to the Mash Projects may have a darker purpose and is forced to chose between staying in this new London or returning to her own time, Crucifix lane, the place where she arrived in the future, could either be the gateway back to her time or the place she decides to leave her old life behind forever."
