| Plot Summary of Hot Blooded |
"Years ago, one of Dr. Sam's radio listeners killed herself, and Sam has never been able to properly cope with her failure to help the girl. Now, at the approaching anniversary of her death, the girl's killer has returned...and is stalking Sam. Girls keep turning up dead with strange strangulation marks, each one with the radio tuned to Dr. Sam's station. Is it her boss, who was with her in Texas at the time of Annie's death? Or her attractive new neighbor who always manages to be around? And what of her irritated ex-boyfriend? Sam doesn't know who to trust...and she's having problems trusting herself this time around."
