Plot Summary of Corpse at the Haworth Tandoori
"Robert Barnard gives us yet another of his exciting mysteries! In “The Corpse at the Haworth Tandoori,” a restaurant worker discovered a body in the boot of his car! Inspector Charlie Peace is called in and, with the help of his Detective Supt. Mike Oddie, begins to unravel a mystery that is more than food for thought! The body is identified as young Irishman Declan O'Hearn, who had accepted employed in a local “artists' colony.” With the usual Bernardian flair this story is an absorbing venture into deviate
personalities, criminal behavior, and a section of York society. Justice, as always in a Barnard book, triumphs in a story well told indeed!
