"A computer programmer in 20th century Los Angeles finds out that a sinister mage from another world is crossing into our reality to obtain items needed to make himself immortal. She crosses into his world, finds out that he is draining the life from that world and falls in love with his former student, now imprisoned.
She teams up with other people in this world and hatches a plot to rescue her lover, defeat the evil wizard and restore the world."
