"Julia and Paul come together through Eve Benedict. Julia is an author who writes biogrophies. She came from Conneticut to Los Angeles with her son Brandon to write the only authorized biography of Eve Benedict. Paul was Eve's stepson, but they remained close even after Eve and Paul's father divorced. At first Paul resented Julia being there. He didn't want Eve hurt. Then he realized that there was more to her than he first thought. He just had to get around the wall she put up to keep from getting hurt. This is a great book, especially since there was more to it than just romance."
