| Plot Summary of A Season Beyond a Kiss |
|---|
"Raelynn and Jeffrey Birmingham's new marriage is on the rocks. Jeffrey has been accused of siring a serving girl's baby, and Raelynn is holding herself aloof. When the couple finally start to love and trust each other, the serving girl turns up dead in the stables, and Raelynn sees Jeffrey over her with a knife. She flees despite her own pregnancy and nearly dies in the woods. She leaves Jeffrey to live in town, where the criminal who initially tried to purchase her keeps attempting to snatch her. Add to that some mysterious stranger who is trying to kill her, and Jeffrey is busy keeping her alive.
