"Sam McFarlane is approached by Lloyd Palmer to assist in the recovery of a meterorite on an island on the south coast of Chile. During the recovery operation (brillantly orchestrated by Eli Glinn), a Chilean naval officer decides that they are operating illegally and vows to stop them. During the recovery, the meterorite exhibits strange behavior and may be more than it seems."
