Plot Summary of Flyboy Action Figure Comes With Gasmask
"The protagonist is a geek who has magical powers, he can tranform into a fly at will. He teams up with his new girlfriend who can make things disappear after they are inspired by the goodness of Sailor Moon and fight injustice and evil in Canada."
UberGirl, Resident Scholar

"The novel centers around a virginal college boy, Ryan, who has the ability to turn into an insect at will. He keeps this "super power" hidden until he meets a sexual vixen at a local coffee shop. She goes by the name of Cassandra. As it turns out, Cassandra has the power to make things/ people disappear. The two join forces to fight against societal problems such as: cigarette campaigns, sexist behavior, and the prosecution of marijuana users by law enforcement.

In short, it's a parody of the expected behavior of superheroes. These heroes aren't much different than the regular citizens that they help. They don't fight people; they fight problems and issues that threaten society. Ryan or Fly Boy battles not only industry but also real problems like cancer and death."

Anna Ellermeyer, Resident Scholar
