"Morgan Hunt is and ex-con turned private eye who investigates the death of his diving buddy, former SEAL Phil Garvey. In the course of the story he has, among other things, a run in with the Coast Gaurd, trouble from a vengeful lawyer and and some romance with his steady, Jessie Beaudreux."
