"Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back in time to that one perfect love ? The female character in Alice Hoffman's book " Here on Earth" is a very childish, selfish character. She throws everything out the window, a good marriage and a troubled teen aged daughter, to rekindle a long lost love that should have stayed lost. She almost loses everything in her obsession over a very troubled lover. "

"March is the main female character in Alice Hoffman's book "Here on Earth" This book was written in 1997. Hoffamn wrote this book thinkin about what would happen to her if she caught up with her high school crush after twenty years. March is a very inconsiderate and immature person. She goe back to her hometown for a funeral of the housekeeper who took care of her when she was little. Instead she only finds trouble. march ends up finding her ex lover who she should of never been thinking about. Why? Because she is married and has a teenage daughter who is already going through somethings already. "
