Plot Summary of The Taming
"A young noble woman is told she must marry to please her stepmother. She has many to choose from but she falls in love with a bitter but proud warrior."
sandra, Resident Scholar

"The first time Liana saw Rogan, she was immensely attracted to the rude and insufferable man. Yet, it was the first time she had any attraction to any male and she was greatly sorted after due to her father's wealth. Answering her heart, she picked him for her husband.

Rogan married her for her dowry. Initially she was like a scared rabbit in his eyes but then she had let her true nature show, setting his bed on fire and disposing off his Days (7 females he bed randomly according to the day).

For the first time in his life, he was softening to a woman. Liana had turned his cesspit of a home to a livable place and gave him food that did not have stones to grind his teeth. Most of all, he never had a woman who responded so passionately in bed. But the continuous war between the Penegrines and the Howards threatened the security of this new found love. Further more, Severn, Rogan's brother disliked seeing the softening in his brother. He set out to keep the two apart."

Sharren Khoo, Resident Scholar
