| Plot Summary of Message in a Bottle |
"Another good one by Sparks. This is a love story filled with anger, confusion, hope, fears, all wrapped into one. It brought me in from page one and wouldn't let go until I was done. The letters Garrett wrote were a tad far fetched, but other then that, a great book."

"This book revolves around the story of Theresa Osborne,
who finds a beautiful letter inside of a bottle and
Garret Blake, the man who wrote it. Their passion and
their love together is somewhat cliched, but written in
a so pretty way you almost dont notice it. After I have
finished the book I cried a lot - something I smile now
when I remember - and the following days kept me
thinking about the book. It is an adorable reading,
one you will never forget. Be completely aware of
that. Unforgettable.

"The female character in the book finds love notes written by the male character. As she finds out more and more about him, the more she finds herself falling in love with him as well as his words. It turns out that he has written many letters to his dead wife, because it is the only way he feels he can communicate with her. He feels the sea connects them. So in ofer to make sure she gets his messages he tosses them out into the see. This book is wonderful, it will make you cry, laugh, and long for love like this. READ IT, you won't regret it. "

"Can you imagine a man who loves his deceased wife so much that he writes messages describing his love and sets them afloat in the sea? In this touching novel by Nicholas Sparks, Garrett Blake writes to Catherine. Some of his messages are found by Theresa Osborne, a columnist for "The Boston Globe." Touched by the messages, she searches for Garrett and finds him. What follows is a poignant story about the power love has in guiding our lives. Theresa, a lonely divorcee and Garrett, filled with kindness and compassion, find a relationship that is real and promises happiness. The ending is not what you would expect, but it brings a greater poignancy to the novel.
