| 1. Favorite book and why? |
I like the books A Call to Arms, The False Mirror and The Spoils of War. They are among the best Anthro-SF novels out there.
|
| 2. Least favorite book and why? |
Although it wasnt a bad book, Catchalot seems kind of cheesy because of all the talking whales and the use of the word "serum". This probably want as played out as it is now when foster actually wrote the book, though.

| 3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why? |
I like the last meeting of Will Dulac and the Massood Caldaq in A Call To Arms, but i can't tell you why until you read the story!
|
| 5. Which character do you identify most with and why? |
I identify a lot with Will Dulac in A Call to Arms, who is forced to make a moral decision between doing the right thing and doing the easy thing, a choice we all have to make often, dont we?
|
| 7. What do you like about author's writing style? |
Foster is very good with Anthro and Sociology. He has some of the best alien cultures in modern SF, and he seems to have humanity nailed.
|
| 8. What are your favorite themes of this author? |
Moral contrasts like Responsibility vs. Selfishness.
|
| 9. What could be most improved about this authors books? |
Some of his older works like Catchalot are formulaic, predictable and deviod of suspense, but after reading some of his later works like The Spoils of War you can see that he has already improved tremendously.
