| 1. Favorite book and why? |
My favourite book is a collection of short stories called Different Seasons by Stephen King. This work includes: The Shawshank Redemption, Apt Pupil, The Body, and The Breathing Method. These stories are fictional, but they could happen to you someday.
| 2. Least favorite book and why? |
Insomnia is King's worst book. So many pages about colours and plateaus. I love everything by King, but I couldn't even finish this book as it made no sense.
| 3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why? |
My favourite scene from Different Seasons is in Shawshank Redemption when Andy Dufresne digs a hole through the wall and escapes. It is only fair that he escapes as he is wrongly imprisoned to begin with.
| 4. Favorite character and why? |
Andy Dufresne--he shows everyone that he is innocent and that innocence will prevail.
| 5. Which character do you identify most with and why? |
Susan Norton in 'Salems Lot. She is very gutsy, and is not afraid to be alone.
| 6. If you could see a sequel to one of the author's books, which would it
be and what would it be about? |
It would be a sequel to the novel Apt Pupil. I'd just like to see what happens to Todd Bowden after he goes on his killing spree.
| 7. What do you like about author's writing style? |
I love the fact that he keeps you guessing. He'll have you think the complete opposite as to what will actually be the outcome.
| 8. What are your favorite themes of this author? |
Horror. He is very goos at writing horror that is truly suspenseful.
| 9. What could be most improved about this authors books? |
The cost. In Ontario, Canada a 500 page Stephen King book costs $10.99, and a 1000 page book by him costs the same.
| Something about yourself |
I am a 17 year old female, and am looking forward to going into grade 12 this year in my home town of London, Ontario. I am also an avid reader of Stephen King.
