| 1. Favorite book and why? |
"Monster" is most certainly my favorite, although I love the Delaware Series, period. It's past paced and intriguing. From the first page, I was totally captivated. Trying to understand, what wasn't to be! Our killer is devious and deranged and maniacal! You'l read through fast and furious, hoping that each page brings Dr. Delaware so much closer to capturing him! I couldn't read it fast enough! Then, when I was finished...I wished I wasn't. Ahhh well, off to another Delaware!

| 2. Least favorite book and why? |
I'd have to say that "The Web" was my least favorite. However, it was my least favorite for all the wrong reasons. I kept expecting the entrance of more and more creepy crawlies, and well, my fears were, thankfully, never realized! I should have relaxed and enjoyed the intellect of the novelist...instead I coward from my own fears. Hmmm...at least I finished the book! I'm glad as well, because it really was a challenge and the ending was never even nearly deduced!

| 3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why? |
Oh, YES!! I would love to see the first few pages of Monster on the big screen...it took me quite awhile to wade my way through the text, but when I did, it was pure laughter!! (I'd tell you what it is, but wouldn't care to ruin the effect for anyone!) Insane as this may sound, it seems to put your mind in the right mental state to read this thriller!

| 4. Favorite character and why? |
Oh...of course, Dr. Delaware and Milo Sturgis would have to be my faves, as I continue to pick up this series and read yet another, rather than another Kellerman; Jonathan OR Faye, or even another author. I like the personal growth that develops within the good doctor, throughout the various novels. He's continually growing as a person and it's interesting to follow this man on his quests, both personal and "otherwise". (I wanted to use the "creepy" font on that last word, so you creative people, just visualize!! :o)

| 5. Which character do you identify most with and why? |
Alex Delaware...notice I left off the "Dr." I mentioned his growth as an individual, not as a doctor. I try to grow or at least learn from experiences, no matter the intensity, though I've never had to see the kind of things that Mr. Kellerman writes about. I think growth is important and yet I read so many other novels and some ages the characters, some ages them through a series, such as Dr. Delaware, and yet no change. Our character remains the same...OUR HERO. With as much as Delaware see's and goes through, I'd be repelled, if there wasn't personal growth, or some change. He's also a good psychologist, much like I suppose, his creator...I mean, it's obvious Mr. Kellerman knows both of his professions, excellently!

| 6. If you could see a sequel to one of the author's books, which would it
be and what would it be about? |
...they are sequals.
|
| 7. What do you like about author's writing style? |
I like his descriptions. I can place myself within his settings and picture everything. I like that. I like how easily the bantor flows between characters.
|
| 8. What are your favorite themes of this author? |
I like the psychological twist. I like to see it from the psychologist eyes, rather than say, a detective, which is more common. I like that fact that he loves only one woman and his love doesn't faulter.
|
| 9. What could be most improved about this authors books? |
...he could have more of them!! :o)
|
| Something about yourself |
I love words. I love to read them, I love to play with them. I'm a teacher, poet and maybe someday an author as well. I write for my students. I write for my kids. I write for myself. I have 3 foster kids and reading time is big on our list of priorities.
