| 1. Favorite book and why? |
Shattered Chain by Marion Zimmer Bradley is my favorite book because it helped me handle my divorce from my abusive first husband.

| 2. Least favorite book and why? |
The least favorite book is Simillion by J.R.R. Tolkien. I loved the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings--but I was unable to finish reading this book even though I tried four times. It is one of three books that I have been unable to finish in my lifetime. Since I have read three books a week for over 20 years--I think that says a lot.

| 3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why? |
I loved the scene in Dune where Paul tells Irulan that he will marry her, but he will never love her. Jessica is speaking with Chani (Paul's true love) and says, "History will call us wives."

Bilbo Baggins from the Hobbit--because he is the ultimate host of a dinner party--even if he has to do without cakes himself.

Lessa from Dragonrider of Pern by Marion Zimmer Bradley because we are both short and firey.

be and what would it be about? |
I think every book that I wanted a sequal has one.

| 7. What do you like about author's writing style? |
I like strong beleivable characters, preferably female.

| 8. What are your favorite themes of this author? |
I like multigenerational series that continues with a character's family.

| Something about yourself |
I am a librarian, computer teacher, and an avid science fiction fan who attends science fiction conventions. I met my husband through an ad for a "lady to seek the last unicorn." We have been living a fairy tale marriage for over 15 years.
