Name Amy Spingola 1. Favorite book and why? I liked the book "A Child Called It" the best. Pelzer made you almost feel part of what he felt. As a mother, I couldn't believe some of the things that his mother came up with. 2. Least favorite book and why? It's hard to say my least favorite book. I liked them all. The last two books, however, didn't catch my attention as much as the first probably because there wasn't as much drama. 3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why? My favorite scene in "the Child Called It" was when they finally did something to help him. 4. Favorite character and why? My favorite character is Dave Pelzer. I couldn't believe how he survived that and still had such a positive attitude. 5. Which character do you identify most with and why? I would have to say Marsha. Even though she wasn't in the book that much, I could really relate to her. 7. What do you like about author's writing style? He made you see what he was going through. He gave a good mental picture. 8. What are your favorite themes of this author? I liked how he talked about giving it your best. Also, that you should hate nobody. Something about yourself I am a seventeen year old mother. My daughter is my inspiration. She helped me overcome so much. Without her, I don't know where I'd be now. She helped me turn my life around so much.
