| 1. Favorite book and why? |
Pride & Prejudice because of it's overall tone and color. The plot and subtle humor is terribly witty and fun to read, wether you've made it through the book one time or fourty.
|
| 2. Least favorite book and why? |
Northanger Abbey. The plot, though intriguing, was not helped by the main character, Catherine Morland. She has a rather weak and dilluted frame in the book.
|
| 3. Favorite scene in favorite book and why? |
It has to be the infamous first spurning at the gathering in Meryton. You have to love the way Elizabeth handled the whole situation.
|
| 4. Favorite character and why? |
My favorite character is Miss Elizabeth Bennet for her quick wit, her sense of humor and her outlook on life in general.
|
| 5. Which character do you identify most with and why? |
I identify most with Elizabeth Bennet because of her quick wit. Hey, it never said I couldn't dream in the question, now did it? ;>
|
| 6. If you could see a sequel to one of the author's books, which would it
be and what would it be about? |
I would like to see Emma done as a sequel. It would be interesting to watch Emma try to matchmake for her son or daughter. Oi vey, talk about a meddling mama.
|
| 7. What do you like about author's writing style? |
Jane Austen was a very witty and insightful woman. She noticed the inner tickings of Regency era society and readily exploited that in her writings.
|
| 8. What are your favorite themes of this author? |
My favorite theme is, frankly, romance. Jane Austen knew how to put a real perspective into it.
|
| 9. What could be most improved about this authors books? |
More detail in the scenery or the way the people look.

| Something about yourself |
I'm a 19 year old college student under a Psychology major who can aptly be labeled as a Pride & Prejudice fanatic. I force all of my friends to watch the 6 hour A&E version of the film. Maybe that's why I have so few friends anymore... anyhow, I still avidly read the book from time to time and drool over Colin Firth.
