Thanks for the kind words, Karen. I have another book to be released in August, detailing the Christopher Pittman case. You may remember this trial as the 12-year-old who killed his grandparents, burned their house down, and blamed the murders on his antidepressant medication Zoloft.
To answer your questions, Bonnie Faye
Todd has never gotten over the murder of her daughter. Last I heard, she was suffering from lung cancer. And Carla Allen was killed in a head-on collision
on her way to school. The so-called "conspirators" insisted Carla was killed to keep her from talking, but that isn't true. I talked with Carla before her death and she knew only what we posted in the book.

I would like to see if you would be interested in writing another book so people who weren't at the trial could really hear the true story. My nephews were accused of murdering his wife in their yard. Billy or Dale please respond to me and I'll fill you in on the story but even though the trial is over, they still won't leave them alone. Now they are trying to take it to federal court. This would make for a very good book since it is about two brothers and a love triangle.

I just finished reading "An Hour to Kill." I am a crime story junkie. I was just wondering what the status is of Crystal's mother, Bonnie Faye Todd?
My heart breaks for her. I'm from Tennessee and she reminds me so much of my aunt.
Also, I read at the end about Crystal's friend, Carla Allen, being killed in an automobile accident. Can you tell me what actually happened?
Thanks in advance for the updates and keep up the good true crime writing.

Hi, guys. Somehow, I overlooked this message board. I am delighted that you are enjoying Dance of Death so much.
I believe it is my best story yet. Renee's story continues even today, as I speak with her in prison. Can't wait to share it with you.

I have been reading your new book and can not tear myself away from it. Dance of Death is probably one of the best books I have ever read.

My father is from Conway originally and his father is buried two gravesites from Crystal Todd. My sister saw the Bio on Court TV and had mentioned it to my father, who has interest in this story for obvious reasons. My father is in his later 70's and can hardly see to read. Is there a video of the segment which aired on Court TV or do you have "An Hour to Kill" in a book with very large print? Thanks for any help you can provide.
