Hi PMS. Tried to send a message advising you to check AP's new site but my message got "removed"! Anyway, if this goes through you should check out her new site (very good) and follow the links to her books. The fantasy titles are near the bottom of the page. I'll probably read them first, before the WWI series - although the war books are very popular at the library here. Will comment on the new Monk as soon as I've had a chance to read it. Our weather has been exceptionally good so have been outside more than reading lately. (Our summers are so short you've got to enjoy them while you can!) Happy reading!

I hope that those fans of Pitt and Monk realise that Anne has also written books in the fantasy genre. Also what happened many years ago still continues because she has a separate cult following especialy with teenage girls who see her as a model of reform and repentance. It might be just my opinion but I think her speciality interest of ethics could be used to set up as a web site to help some of these girls (Fans)on a personal basis.

I just finished Anne lastest book about Monk.As allways it was wonderful. I am not going to comment until I am sure every one has read it but it does answer a question we had on the board a while ago. Enjoy.

I agree all that happened over fifty years ago when Anne was 15. For the record her friend hit her mother over the head with a brick in a sack because she wouldn't let her go with Anne to South Africa. Anne was there so although there was no proof that she swung the sock?brick she was convicted of aiding and abbetting a murder. Don't confuse a highly fictionalised film with the true facts. Now can we get back to the more interesting news, does anyone know what Anne's next book is? There should have been one out in April but I can't find it listed.

Personal comment... Unless you want to discuss AP's very good books, butt out and stay off this site. I'm too old to be wasting my time commenting on moralities. And to the readers... I can't believe I haven't still haven't made time for Anne's last Monk book. (I'm using the excuse that it is always out when I go to the library.) However, I have reserved it and hope that I get it soon. Will "talk" then.

WOW, your life must be pretty empty if all you have to talk about a subject thats been over a long time ago. Everbody, if they have any kind of life has things they are ashamed of except you of course. What she did she has paid for and gone on to have a very successful life, Can you say the same thing?
