"Talk about sibling rivalry! The problem is, she only recently discovered that she had a half-sister, evidence of her late father's secret life. But now that they've met, she sees this woman looks just like her. And this new-found sister intends to take over her life – and replace her. This family has an ugly twist!"
- Audio Editions on-line site
This plot vaguely reminds me of 'I'll Be Seeing You', in which Meghan Collins discovers she had a half-sister who looked quite a bit like her. But I'm sure there will be enough differences in the new release that it won't be a re-tread of the same stuff. At least I hope not!

Okay, normally I would NOT do this. I have to do a presentation on Mary Higgins Clark for my Detective and Criminal Novel Course in college. The presentation was assigned monday, i have to be ready by friday, and i just need a character to talk about to finish my presentation. I bought one of her books, but am no where near done with it, as I am in Germany (study abroad) and the book is in German. I just need to know how the kids are rescued from her psycho ex husband. I know this sounds crazy, but I could really appreciate the help, its so HARD finding any information out about the author and due to the lack of info on her (no internet sources allowed)I need to speak about one of her characters. I choose this book because it is in line with her themes of children in danger, woman heroine. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! I can't find book reviews or anything with the end.

Simon & Schuster site mentions that Mary's 2006 offering will be titled "Two Little Girls in Blue".
Research has shown this waw a Gershwin musical back in the 1920s. Dug up the lyrics for a song called 'Two Little Girls in Blue', too. Mary's always liked using song titles for her books; seems this time around is no exception. Hope it's a good one!

Dancing in the Dark takes place in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. However, it's by Mary Jane Clark, not Mary Higgins Clark
