Murder on the Orient Express is the best book ever. You should read it if you have free reading at your school. And you could do good projects and essays on it. Its also by Agatha Christie. I'm a huge Christie fan!!!

Can anyone here give me full descriptions of the characters (what there personalitys are, features) asap? I'm doing a school project but I don't have the book and I can't get it. Please help me!

Has anyone seen the movie Murder By Death? It is a wonderful satire of Agatha Christie's plot lines and characters. I am an enormous Christie fan, but it was amusing to see her style of mystery through a comic viewpoint.

Well, to partly answer my own query, I found the first pages of "Third Girl" to be a different book. Either I read this one before 1971 (when my records begin) or it was included in some kind of omnibus. Pretty sure I can rule out a movie, though there might have been one.

Sad to see that political intrusion--but very typical of the Bushevik mentality. Alas, America. Anyway, the reason for visiting was that I'm reading "Peril at End House", but I'm almost certain I've read it before under another name. Can anyone confirm this? I think the most likely candidate is "Third Girl", which my records show that I read in 1986.

I wish to ask a question: what relationship could possible exist between Miss Marple and Major Palgrave?

I am reading 4:50 from paddington for an English project at school. I have to write various things about the book including people's thoughts on the book. I haven't even got any critic reports yet so if anyone has any meaningful comments about it i would be very grateful. But something that will show what the book is like.

Come on! Of all the Miss Marple mysteries, Murder in the Vicarage is middling at best. My top 5 are: A Pocketful of Rye 4:50 from Paddington The Moving Finger A Murder is Announced Sleeping Murder
