Wow! This book is such an important read, so emotional. At times the surge of emotion made it difficult to read. You paint such a vivid picture of the Black experience, I understand why we must press on.

dear ms.draper your books are the most interesting book i have ever read. i usually do not like reading, but when i read "Forged By Fire", just your literature inspired me to like reading esp. teens books. I read "Darkness Before Dawn", "Tears Of Tiger", then "Romiette And Julio". All i can say it that you should keep up the good work and keep inspiring people,.
