I read the Perks of Being a Wallflower in October, and I completely fell in love with it. It immediately became the most inspirational book that I've ever read in my entire life. Even my friends noticed that I seemed slightly dazed for the next two weeks after reading it. So I told them why, and I've told so many people how much I loved the book and that they should seriously consider reading it. My friend even gave me the book for my birthday, and my other friend burned me the CD that Charlie gives to Patrick. But I feel that I should thank the auther (Stephen Chbosky) for writing it and giving me a new view on life. Does anyone know how to contact him??

I am a very big fan of Stephen Chbosky's "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower," but my best friend--a girl who has been to me what Sam was to Charlie, and then some--is an even bigger fan. Her birthday is approaching, and I would love more than anything to be able to give her a copy of the book autographed by Mr. Chbosky ... I have searched high and low, but to no avail. If anyone can alert me as to the possibility of my finding a signed copy, I would be incredibly grateful. You may contact me via my email address if you wish. Thank you very much.

i started the book yesterday, and i finished it today. i am at a loss for words, and am debating running up and down the school halls telling people to read the book. it is truely insparational, and it has touched me deeply. even though i have never met charlie, i feel as though i have known him all my life. this is a book that everyone should get a chance to read, and would inspire people young and old.

The references to a movie are about The Four Corners of Nowhere which was directed by Chbosky. Unfortunately, this site leaves off the "subject/message" line so the other postings may be confusing.
