Yes Donna you really need to read Lightning it is probably one of the best books I have ever read period. Intensisty is definitely a very close second. I just hope you dont have to get up early in the mornings because once you start them you will not want to go to bed

Hi, Midnight was the first book i ever read by Dean Koontz and 15 years later i have just read it again and its still my favourite despite the fact i've read most of his books now, i would definetly recommend it to anyone. Odd Thomas was great although Forever Odd dragged a bit but looking forward to Brother Odd.

I found the title character as pure as the desert sands. If only some of his virtue would rub off on me. I was upset with the ending, but I think it is understandable. I cannot wait to read Brother Odd.

This is probabley one of his hardest books for me to get into. Odd Thomas was really good.

They are right, to get KOONTZ at his best you really need to read Lightning and Intensity these are two of the best books ever written. The Bad Place is really good also. Velocity was real good, it did drag in a few spots, but all in all it was wonderful

Its not bad Donna but as I said his earlier works are the best. Look for the stuff he wrote in the late 80ies and 90ies.

The Bad Place is another great Koontz novel, but the absolute best is Intensity. I haven't read Velocity yet.
