Does anyone know if there is another book for Gen coming in the future? And what is the e-mail address to ask Megan Whalen Turner, does anyone know?

To Kat Vargas, there's an email address on her webpage if you want to email her. The Sounis fangroup on livejournal just sent off a fanletter to her a while ago. :)

I am so glad to have found this site of fans like myself! Until now i have had to enjoy the books privately, with nobody to discuss them with. I am sure you know how hard that is! So, could MWT possibly have a pseudonym she wrote other books under? I think her style is similar to that of Elizabeth Alder, who wrote The King's Shadow. Thank you.

I have about 20 pages left and I am simply dying! What an unbelievable book this is! I will post again when I have actually finished it...I am thinking I may have to read it twice, just as I had to with "The Thief" and "Queen of Attolia." Does anyone know how to email Ms. Turner? Thanks for your help.... Kat Vargas

Hi-- Is there a fan club, official or otherwise? I just created a listserv for her books, and I'm looking to join with like-minded fans for discussion about Attolia, Sounis, and Eddis...

all RIGHT then, i have READ THE KING OF ATTOLIA AND I CAN DIE A HAPPY LADY! well, i might stick around until she writes the next book, because there is NO way she is not writing another book, not after THAT ending. i mean, COME ON, a certain SOMEONE'S life hangs by a thread! but i'll wait until more of you have read it to talk about it in more detail. +sighs in bliss...+

ahhh, you have much wisdom...what is a fibula pin anyway? that clip that holds shirt sleeves closed?

:) Have fun reading Lady (fake sick!). Cheezluva, I always thought that Archimedes was able to be in the books the same way guns and fibula pins manage to co-exist. I guess everyone sees it differently. The world MWT's invented doesn't really seem to be an alternate time-warpy Earth though, but an original world in its own right, which has just been influenced by Earth in MWT's imagination. A bit like Tolkein's middle Earth, there are similarities, and even things directly taken from Earthly myths and influences, but that's the author's own input. The history of the world isn't actually meant to correspond to Earth's in any way. Um, I think. I could be very wrong. Hope this helps.

no, the thing for ME, with archimedes principle, is that i READ what AP was, and i didn't really understand how it applied to the situation. anywho, I HAVE THE BOOK! OH YEAH, UH HUH! doing my little victory dance here. do do, dittly do do do do... i am going to wait until i have a nice long weekend (relatively) free of inturruptions before i read it though. either that or... OH! i'm getting SICK! yeS!
