I have read this book a few times, mostly cause of school. I really enjoyed it, umm ya but i dont think there should be a sequal..esspecially from susan's point of view. That would ruin the whole mystery and magic of this book. I wonder how she views everything, if I find out then it could definetely impact how the first book turned out

Mr.spinelli could you please tell me if the story is imaginary or real. And where does it take place.

Dear Mr. Spinelli- My name is Monni and I am 13 years old. I have just finished reading your book, Stargirl. It is by far the best book I have ever read and I just want to say how fantastic and very original it is. I can quite relate to Stargirl, as I am not a stereotypical "normal" teenager. It is very sad and moving how she wants people to like her as the novel progresses and I feel she is falling into the self-esteem trap most teenage girls fall into. Thank-you for creating this and allowing people like myself to read such a great book! Yours Sincerely, Monni

I think the book loser is really good I mean from the title you think it would be a little kid book but it isn't like that is is a really good book and you can even learn from it!!

I really like this book it is soooo great and i think it would be col if they had a sequal but yu now what would be even cooler if they had a movie of this book .

Ya Christine, I guess it would sorta take away some of the "magic" of the book, but who cares? not me! I think it would be cool if there was a sequal, and nothing you say could possibly change my mind. I don't really care if it would ruin the story for you, cuz if that is true, DONT READ IT!

personally, i disagree about there needing to be a sequel to the book. if Mr. Spinelli were to write a sequel to stargirl, especially from stargirl's point of view, it would take away a lot of the mystery of the character. the main character's never seeing her again yet still remembering everything about her so long after the fact shows the lasting effect the girl had on him. if they met and got married, you would lose that.
