I am furious. I so look forward to Diane's books. I have read all of them. But I swear to God, I put on atleast a pound or two when I read them. I just have to have the latte's, chocolate crossaints and cook all the delicious recipes. Do you have any low fat recipes as well (with chocolate of course)

I wish Diane Mott Davidson would write a book that "catered" to those of us with celiac-sprue. She could fill it with lots of gluten free recipes and educate the public about the condition as well. I can't find anyway to let her know this suggestion though.

Especially in mid winter, her books are such a good read while house bound. I have small children so I haven't had a chance to try her recipes. It seems like she has an abundance of shrimp. The best shrimp for me is from the cold waters of Maine in Jan. The vendors sell them from their trucks in the cold only for a few weeks. They are so sweet!

I am a huge fan of the Goldie series and am dying to know when the next book is due out?! I am almost finished with Dark Tort and can't wait to see what Diane has is store for Goldie and her family next!!

Who cleans Goldy's house and does the laundry? When does Goldy buy new clothes? Every day seems to be packed with cooking, driving, serving, cleaning up from cooking, and sleuthing, yet the rest of life must go on somehow. How?

Okay, am I losing my mind or was there a big hole in the plot? Who was the father of Rory's (sp?) baby? Why was she "perplexed" at the filming of the cooking show?

I have read her eating Justin's chocolate croissants. I would love to have this recipe but cannot seem to find it. Could some one please send it to me or tell me where I can find it. thks

To mary turner: I looked up Diane's name and the word "enchilada" online and found the recipe "The Whole Enchilada Pie" in Double Shot.

I would have goldy travel to some tasty destination and end up in trouble. Maybe have her end up in New Orleans or Mexico City or Italy on vacation or a catering assignment for a friend's daughter's special wedding. Or the background could be a cruise ship.
