I just received a selection of four novels with Kill The Messenger among them. I haven't read it yet but soon will though I haven't come across or read fiction for almost twenty years except Evening Class by a British (Irish/Scottish?) writer. I am a writer myself (a columnist too) and find that the book says you live in Los Angeles but on your website it says you live in Virginia. Which is it? Would be glad to correspond more on response from you. With best regards and best wishes gadfly

Reilly's return is from Tami Hoag's romance writing days before she turned to criminal suspense fiction

I Reilly have just completed "Thin Dark Line" and 'Kill the Messenger" I have now started 'Reilly's Return" What a disapointment! the other two were exciting and kept my attention through out.I threw I threw Reilly away after 75 pages

a "thin dark line" is by far the best book shes wrote.then would have to come "guilty as sin" or "kill the messenger". i like how she mixes romance with the suspense but she repeats the whole "oh i cant love him hes so wrong for me, its just sex" thing too much.

My favorite Books are Night Sins, Guilty as Sin, Lucky's Lady and Cry Wolf. The first 2 because they are set in Minnesota where I'm from and the 2nd 2 because they are set in Louisiana where my Husband is from. Does anyone know where in MN MS. Hoag is from originally??? Lynn Peltier

I bought this Tami Hoag book at an airport waiting for my flight because they didn't have any Dan Brown. After reading his excellent books, this one didn't come close - just so you know. Anyway, She left a couple details unanswered - unless I just missed it: Who really called (and paid for) the high-buck lawyer? Why was Josh afraid of Paul? Was Christopher Priest involved or not? She also coughed up a bunch of information at the end we couldn't possibly have figured out, which is a huge cheat. Dan Brown, please write another book!

Dark Horse is by far Tami Hoag's best book. I've just read "Kill the Messenger" and while it is very good, "Dark Horse" is far better. As she has developed her writing style over the years, there is less sex and more plot with an underlying romantic build-up. The background, in this case the world of competitive riding/dressage, is much better developed and the two major adult characters, and possibly the child, are definitely worth another book or two. This book was enjoyed by me, my husband, my 17 and 21 year old daughters, my 70 year old mother and my 93 year old grandmother (although Granny did find the body count a bit high and some passages a bit grisly and graphic. This is a totally engrossing and more mature read than her earlier books and I would definitely recommend it.

Lucky's Lady I would say is my favorite book, then A Thin Dark Line. I like how she mixes suspence, romance all together. It makes really good books
