Just learned that the paperback of DEFINITELY DEAD will be out a month before ALL TOGETHER DEAD (Sookie 7) is released.

I'm not in charge of casting. Alan Ball is. The paperback will be released when the next hardback in the series comes
out, so that'll be in October.

Mrs. Harris I started reading your books when I was in 7th grade, and i fell in love with them. I am in highschool now and I still love your books. I just now found out that there is going to be a movie on HBO and I was wondering are the people that make it staying true to the books, and who have you chosen to play the roles in the book?

I'm a big fan of your sookie stackhouse book, i have read all of them. I'm not sure, but is Dead in Dixie part of this series and if so was it written before dead until dark? thank you.

I'm not going to post another chapter. My books aren't very long! This rumor about another Aurora is very persistent, and I'm sorry to say it's unfounded. I do not have a contract to write any more. The HBO series should start shooting in March or April and be on the air by late next fall.

I'm a pretty critical person...petty, but true. I have high expectations for anything I'm willing two put aside my children, husband, and plethora of daily chores that assail me each day. But Sookie Stackhouse exceeds any distraction I've as-of-yet indulged in, as far as reading goes, and I've heard and read about plans to start a series on HBO...any word on it yet?

I'm still waiting for the next Arora Teagarden book. I read somewhere that Harris had a contract for one more, and while I'm rereading all the preceeding ones, I'm waiting for the next, and most likely last of this fasinating series.
