::ashamed:: I'll go re-read 'Just Desserts' again ... I guess it's been a while. Perhaps I thought that because you're a redhead, so was she .... hmm ....

Funny you should mention Delta Burke. In my mind, Savannah looks a LOT like her. Where did you get the idea Savannah's a redhead? She has dark hair. I'm the redhead. :) Thanks for all the casting suggestions. Now, if we only had a producer.... Sonja Massie (G.A. McKevett)

I think Delta Burke could pull it off being a redhead. I cannot think of ANYONE other than her to play Savannah. I have read ALL of the books and each time I picture Delta as Savannah. It would come so naturally to her. It wouldn't work with Bette. She's to brassy. It is hard for her to sound sweet when she needs to be, but Delta could do with no problem.

Delta Burke would be good, but wouldn't look right as a redhead ... would she?

I think maybe Delta Burke would be a good Van. We already know that she can do a southern accent from her days on designing women. She is full of sassiness too.

I think Bette Midler would make a good Van, but I don't know if she could do the southern 'thang' well enough :) For Dirk, maybe John Goodman? Only not as funny ... Any Hollywood blonde could play Tammy, lol Hmmm ... start developing a script??

Well it is a small world!. I live about 1 hour from Nashville. I do have an idea about a future book. Have Van do a mystery about an animal stealer and then have Dirk give her a Shih Tzu puppy since she saved it. Something along those lines. (That is why I bake and not write.)

Middle Tennessee? I was born in Memphis. :) Lovely state! Sonja (G. A. McKevett)

I have never been able to find an author that I just love until I read Just Desserts. Then I knew I would love all of your books. They are the kind that once you start you dont want to be bothered because you cant put it down. Keep up with the good work and let me know if you ever come to Middle Tennessee.
