The original and authentic "Diary of Ellen Rimbauer,My Life at Rose Red" was written by Dr. Joyce Reardon of Beaumont University, Seattle WA. I would like to know how Mr. King was able to write his own version of this woman's life and subsequent happenings. Granted Her(Ellen)Biography was relatively accurate according to her diary, but where did he get his information on Dr.Reardon's psychic expedition to Rose Red? From his own literary creative license? I have been unable to find out anything regarding this event. I have searched Dr. Readon's web site. Thankyou for your assistance regarding my inquiry. RmcF

Only gays have time to sit down and write dub reviews like this. id rather head down to the bar and watch the game with my buddies, you know, like real people!! P.S.The Shining is a very intriging novel

The movie is vastly different than the novel. The TV miniseries is much closer to the novel's story, but still has some significant differences.

In the Detailed Literary Breakdown of Salem's Lot, some uninformed reviewer referred to the townspeople in the novel as "dumb rednecks".... I suppose you think you're being funny. But, as long as you refer to everyone in a Spike Lee movie as a "dumb nigger"... By now..!
