Yeah, she is actually almost done! Awesome, huh? It's called ironside and will be a direct sequal to tithe, meaning we'll all hear from Roiben & Kaye again! But she already said, that this will be the last book like this! And I read somewhere, I guess it was amazon, that the release date will be sometime in May!

does anyone have a spoiler or at least a HINT from Holly Black if she's gonna or not make a third book? I mean, it was kind of a series starter, wasn't it? Tithe and Valiant ARE pretty connected!

kaye was a fairie(pixie)not a teen and thats why she didn't act like normal teens if she didn't act diffrent then it would not have been that personal to the readers.

I thought Valiant was better, I guess I just liked the characters more.

I agree Ravus didn't sound soo bad. Sure he's a troll but at least he's not short! If I remember correctly it said he was very tall! And he was sweet! But Roiben will always be number one. (for me anyway)... I still like Tithe better though. And I didn't really like Corny he was alright but not my favorite. And give the Kelpie a break it had to eat!

Okay, we all know that Roiben is hot, irresistable and alluring, especially if you imagine him sitting on your couch, his hair a shiny mess and stuff, his scarred chest rubbed with oil... ;) But what about Ravus? Can you really tell me he wasn't all knightly and completely hot as well? And the 2km long teeth...ain't they sumthin? No, I'm serious, he was pretty cool and definitely worthy of being Roiben's follower!

Look, i don't know what you all are used to, but personally, I have read Tithe and I don't think I have ever read a book this good. It focuses on things we have to deal with everyday, with an awesome fantasy world twisted in with it. And as for it being coarse and ugly, I thought it was written absolutely beautifully. It was haunting, atmospheric, and moving. And come on, Corny made me laugh like crazy. He was a messed up, gay, geek, and he was great. Give him a break.

Valiant will come out around summer of 2007. I think it'll be ok, I was hoping Tithe came first because I'd definitely like a blonde Asian loner than a fist fighting jock any day.

i would love to see tithe be made into a movie. i loved the book and i thought roiben was so hot. he sounded hot in the book and i loved kaye. it was so sad whenever janet died by the kelpie i sort of knew it was coming. well i loved this book better than valiant it was good but not as good as tithe

FINALLY someone agrees with me. (see my previous post). And who DOESN"T love Roiben? Seriously, let me come face to face with that person and we'll see what happens...
