To William R. Warren Jr.
Hey that's great! It good hearing that we all might finally get to read a new book by David R. Palmer.
A sequel on Emergence named Tracking is good, However...a new sequel for Threshold(In my opinion) would be better!
Do you have any news on that?

You sound believable, as you have taken the trouble to use the name of a working SF illustrator/artist!

Wonderful news. Are we sure that Analog isn't engaging in a bait and switch plot to get more subscriptions?

David has a new novel being serialized in Analog called "Tracking" in three installments beginning in the July/August 2008 issue. It's a sequel to "Emergence" and a VERY good read. (I speak from first-hand knowledge: I was assigned to illustrate the story.)

To starexplorer; On 04/20/2007, you posted. The next time I go to Florida, I'll go on a pilgrimage to David R. Palmer's house. What happened?!

Does anyone know if either of the two
books he supposedly has finished is a
sequel or companion to Threshold?

Direct word from an established writer is that David has two novels finished that he is looking for a publisher for, and plans to do a sequel for Emergence. This was as of the first of the year. Not sure what the hold up is.
