Estoy muy triste de saber lo que te passa....Yo soy Algerina pero nacio en Francia.....tenia el mismo problema en Algelia...hace 5 anos que estoy en una batalla para tenar la responsabilidad de mis ninos dos hijos....me gustaria saber como peudo ayudarte....tengo un monton de informationes sobre agencias que ayudan a personas como tu....me gustaria verte para ayudarte....dime...el padre tenia los passaportes de los ninos????come ha echo para tomar los ninos fuera de Ingleterra????escribeme un mensaje.....me gustaria ayudar si puedo....hablo el arabe....y puedo venir contigo para ayudarte.....

I've seen not without my daughter many times and every time its more riveting than the next except now I am reaching out to you to see if there is some way I can help women still over in Iran. I am almost finished reading the book "Not without my daughter." I cannnot fathom how you had the courage to do all you did. I certainly do not have the fortitude or stamina to do what you did. You are a hero for all women. Your daught is remarkably like you as well. Imagine being that young & understanding enough to act like a little adult. God Bless you both alwways. Thank you for your good work. I have to keep remiding my friends that we are only Americans with American privileges & rights in America. Too, Too many people in general think they have the same rights everywhere. While that should be the case, it is not. God Bless us all!

hello dear betty , i am an iranian woman who married an iranian man. after 14 years of living together he took my son and i to iran and we had the same situation as you had. watching your movie really touched my heart. your story is many woman story but again i would like to have a contact e-mail from you to send my true story to you . i believe it can open many woman's eyes open before to go to their husband countries or even their contries. thanks and may god bless

I watched and enjoyed the film based on your book last night. It does remind me some of "Ayan Hirsi Ali" story.
It makes me so aware that others in foreign countres and in our very own NZ society who might need some help escape from a bad situation to something better. God bless your efforts. Thanks again. S

Dear Betty, I married a Yemeni man here in the usa back in 1986, we moved to Dubai for 23 years (it was supposed to be for a coupld years) I had 3 daughter and we lived a very familar lifestyle. I always wished to come home but refused to leave with out my daughters. and just 2 weeks ago I finally did it. we are back home and away from all the oppression and abuse. Your story has always been an inspriation for me and my daughters. I just wonder what happened when you got back??? although we are safe in USA I'm still scared for our safety.

Just want to share that in 1984 I married a wonderful man from Iran who did not what to go home to war...I loved him and always will but did not marry to stay married...It touched me to tears years ago when I read your story for at the same time as you seeking help to escape the war in Iran I was helping on of them here. (I am a year younger than you & he is 11 years younger than myself). We are still friends and talk often.

I love this movie. I was trapped with an abuser right here in the USA for almost 12 years. I finally had my chance to escape, and took it ! my escape doesn't even scratch the surface of what this brave and daring woman had to endure. I am so proud of you, Betty. May God bless you with every blessing imaginable !
